Rift between Mbappé and Real Madrid: the Frenchman has his eye on Liverpool
Relations between Kylian Mbappé and Real Madrid have soured, and according to Spanish journalists the forward has decided to leave the club in the summer of 2027. Liverpool is his priority, but Florentino Pérez will only let him go for a record fee.
Just two years after his blockbuster move from PSG, Kylian Mbappé may be about to turn his back on Real Madrid. Spanish media report a serious cooling of relations between the French goalscorer and the club, which hasn't won a single major trophy in that time. Some fans are already accusing Mbappé of putting his personal goals ahead of the team's.
According to Radio Marca, the trigger for the tension is the Ballon d'Or, which will be awarded on October 26 in London. Journalist Javier Tinto claims that the week before the derby, Mbappé asked the club to organize a campaign in his support, but Real did nothing.
François Gallardo of El Chiringuito went even further. According to him, the Frenchman is "furious and disappointed" and has decided to leave in the summer of 2027, with the Premier League as his next stop. Several English clubs are interested, but Mbappé's priority is Liverpool, whose management has already contacted his mother and agent, Fayza Lamari.
The final word, however, belongs to Florentino Pérez. Mbappé's contract runs until June 2029, and Real Madrid would only agree to a separation for a colossal fee that could become the highest in football history.
