Raphinha signs until 2030 with a €1 billion release clause

Raphinha and Barcelona have finalized the Brazilian's new contract, which will keep him at the club until 2030. According to Spanish media, his release clause is €1 billion, and the official announcement is expected as early as Friday.

Barcelona captain Raphinha has already put pen to paper on his new contract, Mundo Deportivo reports. The Brazilian will stay at the club until June 2030, and official confirmation could come as early as Friday. According to Sport, the deal includes a €1 billion release clause.

The club's determination has been fueled by the 30-year-old winger's excellent start to the season: he leads La Liga's scoring chart with 12 goals and has 14 goals in total in 8 matches. At the club assembly in September, Deco already announced that Raphinha would re-sign for two more seasons, meaning he could stay at Barcelona until almost his 34th birthday.

Since arriving in 2022, the Brazilian has won three Spanish league titles, one Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups with the Blaugrana.

The club is also preparing to announce new contracts for two young talents: Marc Bernal and Xavi Espart. Right-back Espart has been the biggest surprise of the season so far, having established himself on the left flank and sent Balde and Cancelo to the bench.
